Quebec Immigrant Investor Program – QIIP

Overview

The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) offers high-net-worth individuals a pathway to secure their future in Canada by investing in Quebec’s economy. Since its launch in 1986, it has attracted seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and senior executives from around the world. However, recent changes have shifted the program from a direct permanent residency route to a Conditional Work Permit (WP) pathway, where applicants must first obtain a work permit before becoming eligible for PR. Additionally, proficiency in French is now mandatory to qualify.

This program is ideal for business owners, senior executives, and high-ranking officials looking to settle in Quebec, benefiting from its world-class infrastructure, top-tier education, and universal healthcare system. While previous versions did not require French, the new rules aim to promote stronger integration into the community.
